All great writers have one star reviews so you can now join that club! I love to read one star reviews of famous books. For me a one star review says more about the space the reviewer is in at that moment rather than any reflection on the work. I feel a three star is more hurtful. It’s more I was “meh” about this book. Didn’t love it. Didn’t hate it. 😬 Love or hate I need some emotion!! 😂

It's also easy to focus on the one negative comment compared to all the great ones you have received. I once read it's part of the human psyche to do that. The great thing though is that you are self aware, and your writing shows an understanding of a that. A lovely piece of prose which I could relate to. Keep writing!!! xxx
